Hilton has announced a new 10-day rate hike for employees at its New York-based flagship hotel, including a 10 percent increase for employees who are working in non-traditional locations.
The increase, announced Monday, will be in addition to the 10 percent hikes announced last month.
Hilton said it will increase its employee rate by 3.75 percent, to $35.25 per hour.
The increase will apply to all employees who work in nonresidential locations, including restaurants, shops, entertainment venues and hotels.
Hilton, which is owned by the Hilton Group, is the second-largest hotel company in the United States and has a fleet of more than 4,000 properties, including the iconic Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C. The company also operates the Trump Tower and the Trump Plaza in Manhattan.
