LinkedIn has launched its own portal to allow people to keep their jobs at the company.
LinkedIn is also bringing the personal assistant function to its own website and will also introduce the ability to add a personal message to any post, including on-site announcements, according to a blog post.
The blog post, which is being shared by LinkedIn’s CEO, David Karpinski, reads: “If you work for LinkedIn and you’re interested in joining us, we’re introducing a new platform to help you stay connected with your coworkers and the world at large.
We’re launching a new personal portal on LinkedIn, so that you can keep your job and be part of the company’s culture.”
It’s the latest example of LinkedIn using its power to attract talent and keep employees.
The social network has already added a feature to its site to allow employees to share their job applications and resumes.
LinkedIn is offering the personal portal through the service’s “Join Our Team” section.
It says that people can access the portal through “a simple login”.
It’s not clear how many people will be able to join.
LinkedIn said it would expand the portal as it adds more people to the workforce.
