Paperless, an online platform for remote workers, announced it has partnered with a company to make paperless employee authentication more accessible.
The company is the first to launch this initiative with the goal of enabling paperless employees to log in to their employer’s portal using their smartphone and tablet.
The move is a response to the recent spike in the use of mobile devices for remote work and a growing number of employers in the US and Canada.
It’s also an attempt to give remote workers the same level of security that is afforded to their employees.
“The paperless workflow has been a huge part of our history, and it’s going to continue to be,” says Andrew DeMoss, president and chief executive of Paperless.
“The technology is ready for it.”
For a remote worker, the process can be a little overwhelming, DeMosons point to the paperless login for the first time.
For many people, the login will be the first and last time they log in.
“This is the way we’re going to get paperless to everyone,” DeMoses says.
“We’re going back to our roots.”
A paperless remote worker would log into their employer portal using the smartphone or tablet of their choosing, but that isn’t the only way to access their employer.
The platform’s paperless integration is tied to the login that the remote worker uses.
The company is working to make it easier for remote employees to access the paperlike authentication on the site, and paperless authentication is already used by more than 10,000 employees across the globe.
“We are in the process of working with several partner companies to roll out the new authentication for our customers to use as soon as possible,” De Moss says.
The Paperless platform will provide more secure paperless access for paperless workers, De Mose adds.
It is important for Paperless to continue building the digital integration of remote work.
The digital integration is critical to making paperless work more appealing to employers and customers.
The platform is working with companies to help remote workers with the digital implementation of paperless user authentication.
Paperless is currently in beta, and the company will be rolling out paperless support in the coming weeks.
DeMoes company is using its own platform to handle paperless customer support, but the company is committed to supporting paperless customers worldwide.
“There’s a big opportunity for paperlessly, and we have a lot of experience,” De Mesoss says of paperlessness.
“With the integration, paperless can really help with the process.
It opens up more ways for us to connect with our customers.”
