Amazon is reportedly looking to give some employees a discount on Amazon Paperless devices, according to an employee review of the Amazon Echo smart speaker.
Amazon is reportedly trying to reach out to employees who use their smart speakers to stream video on their devices, with the company’s employees being among the potential customers for the devices, which use sensors to collect ambient noise and detect when an individual is speaking, according a source familiar with the matter.
The company has been experimenting with smart speakers since at least the second quarter of 2017, according the source.
The device was introduced in May, but it was announced at the end of the year that the Echo was going to be discontinued.
According to a report in September, Amazon was looking to get some of its employees to use its smart speakers in the workplace, and one of the people who would be a potential target was an employee who uses his Amazon Echo to listen to music while on the road.
The Amazon Echo is an Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker that allows users to listen via a speaker connected to their mobile devices.
The devices can also be used as speakers on the go.
Amazon Echo is a smart speaker and has been in the hands of many users for several years.
