NEW YORK – JCPenney Corp. said on Wednesday that it sold a $2,700,000 home in Manhattan’s Upper West Side for $1.9 million.
The home, located at 34-10 N. 37th St., has three bedrooms, a 2,300-square-foot bathroom and a garage, the company said.
The buyer was not identified.
The sale price is the equivalent of a one-bedroom, one-bathroom rental in Manhattan, the chain said.
“This home is a unique opportunity for a new owner to have a spacious, well-appointed, and functional home,” said Chris Dore, senior vice president of the company’s residential real estate division.
“We expect this home to continue to attract customers and we’re looking forward to hosting them for a long time.”
The seller is expected to receive a $250,000 cash payment.
